ANC company setup
Ajman NuVentures Centre is one of the newer UAE free zones and one of the most digital. It is a serious option for a small company, and an easy one to be oversold.

What ANC is
ANC — Ajman NuVentures Centre Free Zone, sometimes written ANCFZ — is one of the newest of the UAE's free zone authorities, operating from Ajman city. It was built around a digital registration model rather than a counter, and it carries a broad activity list including newer digital categories that older zones have been slower to define.
There is no minimum capital requirement, foreign ownership is full, and the licence structure is the standard free zone one: a trade licence, constitutional documents and an establishment card that lets the company sponsor residence visas.
Ajman is the smallest emirate by area and it competes on cost and on process. That is a legitimate proposition and it suits a real category of business. It is also the reason this zone is marketed harder than most, and the reason a page like this needs to be careful.
What we will not tell you about ANC
The authority's own marketing, and almost every agent page written about it, leads with a turnaround promise — a licence in a matter of hours, a visa in a matter of days. We are not going to repeat those figures, on this page or in a quote.
Not because they are necessarily false, but because they are not ours to promise. What determines the pace of your file is your documents, your shareholding structure, whether attestation is involved, and how the authority's own queue is running that week. A firm that promises you a timescale is promising you something it does not control, and when it slips the firm that promised it is not the one that pays for the flight you booked around it.
This is the same discipline we apply to the Golden Visa, where the old version of this site published an approval window that should never have been published. We would rather tell you exactly what your file needs and let the timing be what it is.
Who it fits, and who it does not
It fits small digital businesses, consultancies, e-commerce operations and founders who want a legitimate UAE company at the lowest sensible cost. It fits people setting up remotely, because the process is built for that. And it fits businesses in newer digital categories that some older authorities have not yet classified cleanly.
It does not fit a business that needs an address its clients recognise. Ajman is a smaller emirate and, in some sectors and with some counterparties, that is noticed. It does not fit businesses that need physical facilities at scale, or a presence in Dubai, or approvals from a Dubai authority.
The most important thing to be clear about: choosing the cheapest licence is only a saving if the licence does what you need. We have unwound more than one structure that was bought on price and could not hold the activity the business actually traded in, and unwinding costs more than getting it right did.
What being an appointed channel partner changes
We file directly, and we will tell you when the cheap answer is the right answer and when it is not. That distinction is the whole value here. We hold appointments across six emirates, five of the authorities in Dubai, so recommending Ajman costs us nothing to say and nothing to avoid saying.
Banking is the part to think about hardest with this zone. A licence is only useful if you can bank on it, and which banks will onboard which activities from which emirate is a live, changing question. We would rather map that before you incorporate than watch you hold a licence you cannot open an account against.
What it costs
Almas free zone company setup starts at a figure our client has confirmed in writing, shown on this page with its exclusions attached — visa, Emirates ID and medical are per person, not per company.
We do not publish an ANC-specific licence fee. It moves with the activity and the visa allocation, and in a zone marketed this aggressively on price, a headline figure with conditions attached is precisely the thing we are trying not to be.
ANC or a Dubai zone?
If your clients are international, if you sell online, if nobody is going to look up your trade licence, and if cost is genuinely the binding constraint — Ajman is a real answer and we will file it for you without any hand-wringing.
If you sell to UAE corporates, if you need to be in Dubai, or if you expect to raise money from people who will read the paperwork, then the difference between an Ajman licence and a Dubai one is worth paying and we will say so.
The one thing we will not do is take the cheapest instruction and file it without asking which of those two you are. That question takes five minutes and it is the difference between a structure that works and one you replace in a year.

Free zone company setup
Visa, Emirates ID and medical not included
That is where our free zone setup starts — it is not a licence fee for ANC. Which zone and package it reaches depends on your activity and your visa allocation, and we confirm your figure in writing before you pay anything. If you need residency with the company, the all-in package is from AED 10,799 and includes the visa, the Emirates ID and the medical.
ANC questions we are asked
Is ANC the same as Ajman Free Zone?
No — they are two different authorities in the same emirate, and we are an appointed channel partner of both. ANC is the newer digital-first registrar with a broad activity list and no estate behind it. Ajman Free Zone is the government zone beside Ajman Port, with warehouses, industrial land and onsite facilities. If you need somewhere to put stock, it is AFZ; if you are a consultancy or an online business setting up remotely, it is usually ANC.
What does ANC stand for?
Ajman NuVentures Centre Free Zone, sometimes written ANCFZ. It is one of the newer UAE free zone authorities, operating from Ajman city with a digital-first registration model.
How quickly can I get an ANC licence?
We do not publish a turnaround, even though the authority and most agent pages do. The pace of your file depends on your documents, your shareholding structure, whether attestation is involved and the authority's own queue — none of which we control. We will tell you exactly what your file needs, and we will not sell you a date.
Is there a minimum capital requirement in ANC?
No minimum capital requirement applies, and foreign ownership is full. The structure is the standard free zone one: trade licence, constitutional documents and an establishment card that lets the company sponsor residence visas.
Is an Ajman free zone licence worth it compared to Dubai?
It depends entirely on whether anyone in your market looks at the address. If your clients are international or online, it is a real saving. If you sell to UAE corporates or expect investors to read your paperwork, the Dubai difference is usually worth paying, and we will tell you which category we think you are in.
Can an ANC company open a UAE bank account?
Yes, but this is the part to think hardest about with any lower-cost zone. Which banks onboard which activities from which emirate changes, and a licence you cannot bank on is not a saving. We map that before you incorporate rather than after.
How much does an ANC licence cost?
Almas free zone company setup starts from a figure the firm has confirmed in writing, with visa, Emirates ID and medical charged separately per person. We do not publish an ANC-specific figure, because it moves with the activity and the visa allocation and this is a zone where headline numbers with buried conditions are the norm.
